I haven't posted any new pictures of our babies, but they are HUGE!
At ten months old Marvel is pushing 100 pounds. He had surgery on his hip in December and is doing very well, back to putting some weight on it even though he does a very fast three legged run. Maggie is smaller only about 80 pounds. She went with us to Grandma's house over the weekend. Poor thing was very carsick. We finally got her some dramamine and she seemed to do better.

10 for 2010
2010…Holy Zoom Batman
I can’t believe how quickly time seems to move these days. Not sure if it’s because I’m getting older more rapidly than I’d like or if it’s just because the girls seem to be growing so fast. Stealing an idea from a friend http://justme-leah.blogspot.com/; I decided to do ten resolutions or goals for 2010. I’ve never made resolutions before so this is something new for me. So here they are in no particular order:
1. Finish things I start. While intentions are good, results are better.
2. No more procrastination. I resolve to do the tough things first because I know that putting them off simply makes me stress out.
3. Start and maintain an exercise program that incorporates running and core body strength. I’ve been so angry at my body for getting cancer that in a lot of ways I’ve abused physical self.
4. Make an effort to really live my life and quit avoiding things because I’m too scared of getting hurt; emotionally or physically. No more hiding in books, beer or the bathtub.
5. Eat a healthy diet…every single day. More fruits and veggies, less chips and cheese.
6. Become a planner. Days, Meals, School, and Socialization. “If you fail to plan, plan to fail.”
7. Work on being a better wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Make the time and effort to let them all know how very much I love them.
8. Spend more time with God in prayer. I want my life to testify to the glory of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior, but I also want to be comfortable resting in Him. He says His yoke is light and burden easy, I need to experience that more and beat up on myself less.
9. Spend less time on the internet. Enough said.
10. Do some things just for me. Massage, photography or pottery class. Something that I do just because I enjoy it and no other reason.
As I read through these, most have to do with time. I see I need to be more selective about where I spend my time since each of us only gets a finite amount in this life. Hoping 2010 is the best year yet.
